sponsoring Aerobatic Pilot will
be associating themselves with the excitement
and glamour of competition aerobatics. Sponsors
will gain significant brand exposure within the
UK general aviation community through in-depth
coverage of the project by LOOP magazine, a high
profile industry periodical. This community is
primarily composed of individuals with a high
socio-economic status and significant disposable
income. Further coverage will be garnered by regular
press releases to industry publications and through
a website dedicated to the project.
Sponsors
will also benefit from exposure to the wider public
through air shows and aerobatic displays. Efforts
are also ongoing to secure dedicated television
coverage of the project. And, with the successes
expected throughout the first summer of competition,
it is hoped local television news channels will
pick up the story.

Exposure
• In
depth coverage from LOOP magazine, a monthly periodical
with a circulation of 26,000. Regular press releases
to Pilot magazine and Go Flying!, both publications
having a distribution in excess of 20,000.
• Regular press releases to local newspapers
and television news stations.
• The website, dedicated to the project
and featuring sponsor’s brands, will be
promoted in all magazine features and press releases.
It will also collect details of individuals interested
in the project. These details will be made available
to the sponsors.
• In the second and third years of the
project the fully branded plane will be displayed
at a number of airshows and events throughout
the UK. Among the events being targeted are the
Bournemouth Airshow with a weekend attendance
in 2008 in excess of 1,000,000 people. Also the
Eastbourne Airshow, with a 2008 attendance of
700,000.
